Question Door Seal

Has anyone noticed a deteriation of the door seal midway up on the a-pillar?

I have less than 5000 miles on the truck and the driver's side seal is starting to come apart.

It looks like a design flaw on the way the door rubs the seal. I wonder how DC is going to handle the warranty claims on this one.

I sure hope they figure something out. I really don't want to be replacing door seals every year.

I have almost 10,000 on my 04. I just checked and it looks ok. But to clarify, there are two seals. An upper seal and an inner one. Is it the upper most seal, it looks like the door does rub this as it closes against the cab near the window? Mine looks rubbed and dirty, but not in need or replacement. Or course I usually enter thru the window, Dukes of Hazard style, so maybe my door is not used enough.

You ought to see my hood!! This paper-thin sheet metal is no match for my 250# frame pulling hood-slides on a daily basis!!

I don't believe the TSB mentioned above is there. At least I couldn't find it.
