Does anyone have anything good to say about the Borgeson 800121 steering box?

Does anyone have anything good to say about the Borgeson 800121 steering box?

I have read everything that I could find, but no real-world experience. I would like to replace my steering box as I have some play in the stock box. I like the idea of the 800121 box, but have seen some conflicting reports so it is confusing.

Has anyone here installed one in their truck, and if so what is your impression?
Thanks.

Personally, I would NEVER buy another "big manufacturer" steering box or pump ever again. Nothing good about mass production suppliers other than their pricing is cheaper.

Call Chip @ Powersteering.com and tell him " T. " recommended you. You might have to wait a little while as he's quite busy, but you won't regret the precision and quality you get from his products. I bought my gear from him 2 years or so back, and I couldn't believe how well it was put together. I used a napa PS pump, and I've had nothing but leaking pumps since. I just bought a new PS pump from chip, and again, quality is second to none.

You may be able to upgrade your box to a better performing unit, as that's what I did with my truck. Best investment I've made yet.

3rd Napa on the left...... Chip's Pump on the right.

I have borgeson gear. A little easier and quicker to turn. Took some getting used to. About 15k on her now. No regrets

Well, I just pulled the trigger and bought the Borgenson 800121 box direct from them so I will let you guys know how I make out. I killed my stock box by using the steering to pop our the unit bearing bolts so my stock box has been very sloppy for a month now. I just hope that I do not have any issues...

I had already purchased and installed the shaft last month hoping the sloppy steering was that. I did have a "clunk" from the stock shaft that the new Borgeson unit fixed, but it was not all of the slop.
