Dodge Power Wagon??
Hi all-
I mannaged to bend the frame on my 99 truck the other day curb hoping of all things, but anyway Im looking at replaceing it with the 3/4 ton Dodge Ram. A few days ago I was thumbing through my TruckTrend magizene and came across the article about the 2005 Dodge Power Wagon, and that it was bassed on the 3/4 ton Ram. I can not find any information about the truck from dodge on their website. Does anybody know if the Power Wagon is currently availble and if it will have the option for a diesel. If it is availble where is it located on dodges website, and can you "build and price" one? thanks alot.

The POWER WAGON will NOT have a CTD, it's a HEMI only option. It is setup for the purpose of OFFROAD running. The CTD is too heavy for this type of running the way they have it setup. Anyhow they are also looking at a bigger CTD for the truck
I will gladly trade in my 04 if the Power Wagon came with a CTD.Too bad it doesnt hit the floor with the diesel. From what ive read in the 4Wheeler mag it has a ton of usable options.Maybe i will have to ride my XR650R more to keep my milage down on my truck for trade in purposes.Built in winch, locking difs, functional skid plate, factory lift kit, BFG a/t's,all with a factory warranty! Whew makes my heart go pitter patter. Now thats a real truck!
The latest issue of Petersen's Four wheel & Offroad has an article on the Power Wagon, pretty cool, except for the gas engine. What ever happened to the Power Wagon concept from back in the late nineties, that thing was much cooler than the current one, 700-some lbft of torque, with a Caterpillar engine(it may not be a Cummins but it's nothing to scough at).
y not add those options to your diesel and make your own power wagon the only problem i see is the winch blocking air flow to the front but as many have already added winch bumper with no ill effect it may not be a problem. the locking diffs should be an easy install just remove old carries and install new and wire up. then with a trex suspension you have a real power wagon... keep dreaming Dan

Have you guys seen those great looking rock runners on the side of the Power wagon? If they are actually strong I'll be putting a set on my '04.
