Alright, first post here. Just got an 03 5.9 2500 w/extras. Will list later. CL listing said it was a 2500 HD. Don't know if seller meant stock HD or built HD (was too giddy after the test drive and the whole neck snap thing) forgot to ask. So how do you tell other than the body emblems? They were removed.
Im guessing VIN number or something?

I own a 2006 5.9 and as far as I'm concerned it being a diesel it's an HD.

 

Thanks guys, it would appear this one is built HD. Only stock HD i saw was the cooling, and F&R shocks (already replaced). Don't suppose that constitutes an 2500HD.
