Need some help determining what to do next.

I had trouble last week with my 2000, pulled two codes, P1690 and P0336, both are crankshaft postition sensor codes.

My dad tried to drive it yesterday and it shut down on him, he got it restarted and took it home.
Pulled the codes this morning and:
P1690 CKP sensor does not agree with ECM CKP sensor
P0336 CKP sensor signal
P0215 Fuel Injection pump control circuit
P1689 No Comm btween ECM and Injection Pump module

I have a new crankshaft position sensor to install, maybe today if I can stand laying on the wet ground, maybe not, its raining pretty good out there right now.

Those last 2 codes have me a little concerned. What to do next.

sounds like you're on the right path in which order to do things. its possible that the cps caused the other codes to be thrown, after replacing the cps clear the codes and report back to us and we'll go from there. replacing the sensor is fairly easy (just not much fun in the rain)

I changed the sensor on friday, but I didn't get a chance to drive it till yesterday. No codes yet, so I hope that fixes it. BTW, mine was not easy, there must have been a ring of rust up to the O-ring and I though for sure I was going to break it off in there.
