Harder front coil-springs
Harder front coil-springs
I just installed my new ~220pound buckstop Bumper and I noticed that how easily the front end bottoms now.
Anyway, I have Toughcountry 5" spacer lift kit wich includes pitman and control arms too, but I was wondering that where I can find 5" longer and a little harder front springs to my 1998/1999 3500 4x4? Then I could drop those front spacers of.
Thank you!

I have skyjacker d25 springs on my truck. I have a 200 pound custom front bumper and it supports it well. It rides like a truck now, whereas the stock springs rode like a caddy. they sell them on summitracing.com the ones you want are the sja-d45 springs. they are about 170.00
Yeah, you got it. I dont want it riding like a truck or caddy like a stock, but something between of them, so little harsher ride than completly stock with my buckstop bumper.
So are those d45 allright then?
What was the stock rating? Because I dont know nothing about those D-ratings.

I would have to say that the front of my truck is about the same weight as yours. they ride a LOT softer than my old 78 chevy. they are a little heavier than the factory springs. I would say qith the chevy being a 10 for harshness, and factory being a 4, these put me about a 6. I can feel the road, but don't get beat around.

They'll make you whatever you want...stock height, heavier coils, lift coils, whatever. Just tell them what you want!
They're a little slow on making them though!
