Weak Front Coil Springs on 03 3500 2WD

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I'm carrying my truck 2WD into the Dodge dealer tomorrow for them to check my front coil springs. A local factory trained front end guy (he does not work at the dealer) says my coil springs have grown weak and caused the front to get out of alignment/sag. The tires are wearing on the inside of the front tires. I have had to get it aligned twice in 41,000 pampered miles. It is currently within factory specs, but the top link is adjusted "all the way out". Since it is 5,000 miles out of warranty, the Dodge dealer has to check it and call it into Dodge to see if they will pay for new front coil springs. Anybody else heard of this problem??

Maybe

I have read where this was a problem with certain 3500 2wd.
DC knows about it and sent out a notice of some kind concerning the
weak springs. I just forget what model year was involved.

You might go here: http://www.dodge.com/owners/index.html

to see if you get a hit.

Have your VIN# handy
