Is there an insurance discount for DRLs? I had my tech turn them on cause I think it is a good safety thing. He knew nothing about it and althought the DRB tool had an option for them it didn't turn them on until I told him to use the Canada country selection as per this forum. He was hesitant to admit he learned something (I call this the little Ceasar syndrom ALA county building inspectors and other "people of power power") This guy however is the best and I would not know what to do w/o him. I had the tranny TSB done at the same time. I removed the VA and EZ boxes prior to showing up and it is driving me nuts. Once you get accustomed to the power -w-these mods the stock truck is a DOG. I am going to measure the mileage for a tank and put the boxes back on.

 

Is the DRL basically the headlights being on when the engine running or is it more like the Chebby lights? Thanks.
