Talking Dash mat opinions/ seat covers

Cover king makes two different dash covers. One is the original "poly carpet" and the other is a "molded cover". Which is a better product? I live in AZ and it is hotter than he##. I moved here from CA and having the black leather interior is tough. Also what are the best seat covers out there? I need something that is tough yet comfortable.

I too have the poly, only complait is I had to add more velcro to hold it down on the dash,it made for a cleaner look.

As far as seat covers I got a set of sheep skin, you would think being all fluffy they would be hot but there real nice no sweating proploms, I did have to use safty pins to hold up the one edge near the power seat controls, the edge of them moved my seat now and then,as for the heated seats working though them I do not know,it's hot here and I am not going to give it a try

I'm very satisfied with my Marathon Superhides seat covers....tough, waterproof, and great fit!

I have the "molded dash cover" from Cover King. Real nice, fits great. Haven't had to use the velcro to keep it on. At that them the molded covers were not available for my son's 06. Also have Marathon Superhide seat covers. Real pleased with them. Went on easily and fit great. Ordered directly from the company. Google "marathon seat covers" and you will find them. Are in Montana. Great to work with. They go to great lengths to make sure you get what you want.

Just looked at custom truck accessories web site. The molded version of the Coverking dash cover does not seem to be available for newer Dodge Ram trucks. Their molded covers are available in poly or veloure. Non molded covers are poly.

I have a dash mat in the truck and the wifes car. I have the carpet looking one and the wife has the smooth looking one. Both are very nice. Dash mat is also local to you. I picked mine up at Chapman Dodge in scottsdale.

I purposely got a carpet type cover for the sole reason of putting my radar detector up on the dash instead of stuck to the windshield. I just put some velcro on the bottom of the radar detector.

It does wear a spot where the velcro attaches, but that's ok with me. If it ever gets too ugly, I'll just buy another.

I've had the POLY cover for 15 months so far and I am completely satisfied with it.
