I can not get my cruise control to work, not with driving or high idle. What can I check to see what the problem is? I looked at fuses, but didnt see anything out of the unusuall. Thanks.

Can you get it to come on or just not ingauge? If it will not engage check the brake pedal you should have a switch or two that will deactivate the cruise. I haven't looked at my truck but some vehicles have a switch for the cruise and a switch for the brake light. If you have a clutch check that switch also.

TTT, having the same issues..........."CRUISE" light comes on under speedo but will not SET. ?? Is there a fuse for this feature ?

Make sure your brake lights aren't on or the switch on the pedal isn't bad.

We have some known issues where the brakes are on and Cruise won't work.

no fuse that I can see, but I did find the vaccum on the passenger side and a 1/8 hard line hose going along the firewall all the way under the drivers side battery. It had split in it from chaffing. I put some shrink wrap on it temporarily ---well see if it works when I get off work today........to be continued !! lol

I have the exact same issues. Let us know Eric. BTW hows the paint on your grill holding up? Also what are ya doing for the NCAA games this weekend?

WORKED !! It was a vaccum leak. When the shrink wrap goes bad I'll replace that section of the line and maybe re-route it. UMmm, wellll....the paint is holding up well so far. I primered the crap out of it cause the I never got the chrome "off". I dulled it and scuffed it up with a DA sander and primered it two or three times. It does have a rock chip on it already tho..........If I had to do it again I would just find a non chrome grill from a junk yard and re paint it.
