Cracked Grille Shell for '07

So I cracked my Grille Shell in a little off-roading incident over labor day - best I have found for a replacement shell is $219 + tax.... sound about right? This is for the ABS plastic, basically the same as what is on there. I was told no one is making a stainless one yet for my truck and even if it was it would be much more expensive.

Wish I had a camera with me, but it was about 4:30am, so I am not so sure pics would have shown much.... we snapped a tow strap as I was trying to pull out a D-max, which got stuck trying to pull out a Samarai... we were in one of the coves to lake Cumberland... Samarai was stuck good and we had terrible pulling angles since we couldnt get the big trucks close enough to pull it straight out....

60 Views and no one knows anything about a Grille replacement? Has anyone had to do it? I have been looking into aftermarket billet, but most of them are just inserts and I actually cracked the shell.... How's $219 sound? Any suggestions on shell replacements?

Talking Propane or charcoal?

I'll see if my info is of any help to you. As far as the factory, here you go..

SLT chrome surround black inserts #55077767AE $270.00 ret / $204.00 w/sale

Laramie chrome surround chrome inserts #55077778AE $370.00 ret / $280.00 w/sale

This is what o.e. goes for, however there are many a/mrkt sources for replacement grilles. If you have any contacts at a B/shop they can probably get an a/mrkt one for a lot less. These are all complete assemblies as they aren't sold as shells anymore. Also try carpart.com or carparts.com. Both of these were referrals from my b/s buddy. He uses them to price shop when he has time to wait. I believe it is a source for used parts. BOL

edit: sorry I see you need the shell. Well, if you find that and need the insert.....

I have 2 factory grills. I be happy to sell you one. They're basically brand new. Both came off the day the trucks came home. Send me a PM if you're interested.
