Complete front end rebuild, XRF and Raybestos
I would like to start with a big Thank you to the Tire Club. They are one of our sponsors here on DTR. Fast free shipping and great prices on XRF and Raybestos chassis parts.
Installed 4 XRF ball joints, all new steering components from Raybestos, 2 new greaseable u-joints, 2 new wheel hubs, (warrantied through Napa). Spent about 10 hours doing the entire job. dealer installed 3 sets of ball joints in the warranty period, 83k on the clock now so we will see how these brands hold up. As a side note I run Lubrication Engineers Monolec 703 80/90 parrafinic gear lube in both diffs. The gear oil in the front diff had appx 50k on it and came out as clean as it went in. Not a spec of metal or anything on the magnet.
