THIS JUST CAME UP TODAY P0700 DO i NEED TO BRING IT INTO THE DEALER OR IS IT NOTHING

 

P0700 is Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

I think that means that there is a problem on the transmission's computer and you need to have a scan tool hooked up to read it. Good luck!

 

are you by chance running a juice box. when i installed mine i got the same code. i think the tap on fuse 50 trans control is the reason. mine is running like always, just fine, but maybe the different ohm reading trips the code.

no motor is stock no aftermarket

 

I have the same code showing on my truck 03 that's not even close to stock. I'm in the same boat not knowing what to do! I'm going to try and unhook battery to reset the truck n computers hopefully that works

 

P0700 means there are transmission fault codes stored. You will need a scanner that will display transmission data and trouble codes.
