What's a p0700 error code?
So much for my brilliant idea about towing with the Bully Dog set on kill. All was good on the freeway locked up in fourth. The check engine light came on while pulling a hill from a dead stop. I can't tell if I was even pulling as hard as it did when in stock mode but I'm sure it was. The PowerPup is not taking the code out. I'll try the battery disconnect in the morning. If that don't work it's off to the dealer. I guess I need a torque converter and valve body. The egt's were great on the freeway. I pulled a pretty decent hill at 68mph and barely hit 1260 on the egt's. I'm normally floored in 3rd doing 55mph.
Anyone know what this code means?

P0700 is the Transmission Control System (MIL Request) code. In other words your tranny has a code or at least requested HELP
Take your truck to AutoZone and let them read the code and then reset it. If the code comes back then there is a problem

The dealer has it now. I told them what happened. We'll see what they do. It's had a problem since I got it hot pulling my trailer up a twisty mountain road. I actually stopped and let it cool down. Bone stock pulling 13k. No lockup while going slow just generates too much heat.
