chrome defect in front bumper

Anybody had a defect in the chrome on their factory bumper? I have a spot on the pass side in the indentation on the bumper just in front of the tire. I can't imagine that any road debris could have caused it judging by the location. Has anyone else had the problem, and more importantly, did DC warranty it?

I have one near inside of fog lamp will look at it tonight and let you know.
My bumper was dented from dealer. They replaced it with another trucks bumper but it had the same dent (not as bad). Still P-O.

When I bought my 06, there was a defect in the right side of the rear bumper. They ordered a new one that also came in with a defect in the same location. The second one they ordered was OK. This was all done under warranty. This was all within one week of taking delivery. I would be surprised if the warrantied something like this after a year or more.

The chrome on my 06 has started rusting already. Going to take it to dealer and see what they plan on doing with it.

The dealer said they'll have no problem warranteeing the bumper but it would go a little easier for them if I let it get worse first. :-/
