The door is cutting my seal,every time I shut the door it rubs the seal is anyone else having that issue?

 

Mine does the same. gonna take it in and have them put the diff. seals on under warrenty!

Just bought the new seals, the new ones have 5-6 inches tapered to keep them from catching.

$20 a pc at the dealer.

My mirrors are what drive me crazy, i get a crackling sound if they are normal drive position, so now i have drive around with them extended to keep my sanity, sucks... and poorly designed.

 

Thanks it's not leaking yet but eventually it will, plus the sounds is anoying when wet.

 

You want to know what a poor design is, is that cup holder it really rattles now with these new tires. But I love my truck,it's my dream truck that I have always wanted and finally got.

 

I would get you a set tho, if you plan on keeping it, cause you know what happens when they come out with new body style the previous model parts become spendy.

I have 2 complaints about my truck: the wind noise on the hwy, the crackling sound i get from my mirrors. oh yeah 3, my lumbar went out. other than that it has been a pleasure owning, and is almost paid off to boot, as soon as the extended is done, time for a few mods

 

Yeah I just got mine paid off so I have been enjoying the no payment thing. I put a programmer on mine and took out the muffler that's it so far for the mods. Yeah I get a little wistle going down the interstate with mine too.

 

Heck mine rattles with the stock tires

 

Have you guys tried adjusting the doors in a bit at the top to make a better seal? I had this prob. with my truck a while back, I just adjusted the doors to squeeze the seal a bit better at the top and front. I really heard the leak when I hit a crosswind going down the road. Do a search on this site, there have been a few threads on this. Could be that the door seal was worn or tore from the excessive movement of the door rubbing on the seal because it was not tight enough...

 

Had my seals re-done under warranty from the door tearing them. Was a TSB. Not sure how Dodge let that one slip by quality control so apperent the door rubs the seals.
