checked out the mega cab today,,i thought the interior was just outstanding,,laramie, all leather,,gobs of room! man would i ever love to own one of those! however,,sales person even said that the dealer ship wouldn"t void the warranty even if chipped,,sticker price $48,800,,didn"t take it for a test drive for fear of falling in love,,,but i was day dreaming about buying it untill she told me it only has a 3/36 warranty total,,i still have 5 1/2 years left on my 04.5,,so if i bought a 06 i would lose 2 1/2 years warranty,,doesn"t sound like a good deal to me,,i think I"ll wait,,but the mega is still one hell of a nice truck

Yeah, they are nice, but don't believe the dealer about the chip. They may not, but if something big breaks star will have the final say. NOt your dealership.

Yeah, you're always taking a big risk when you do mods like that. Good luck with the megacab, the interior is amazing. If I was a family man I'd be all over one of those.
