Just changed mine today.Exise Platinum ,made in the USA.1100 cranking amps.5 yr full replacement.2/300.00. taxes in.Had one starting to smell,5 yrs old always garaged

I forgot to also mention, my truck is NOT a daily driver. I drive it about once, maybe twice a month, and it's never had an issue starting.

Running from Denver to NW Wyoming last friday and got a code 0514 battery temperature ........ Sucker was smokin' hot, swelled, venting acid and fixin' to blow. 3.5 yrs old, 110k miles and many extremely cold starts. No Sears around, Wallyworld was packed so I had some put in ($5 ea. installation) from our industrial battery dealer Standard Battery. Works fine for all the company trucks and great service/warranty/return.
