Class Action for A/C

Are there any grounds to merit a class action suit against Dodge for the substandard A/C in these trucks? Is there an attorney out there in DTR Land who can advise the group?
I wouldn't know where to start.....OH!

Maybe we could run a poll or sign a petition or something here on the forum,
is that ok with the DTR admin?? If nothing else it may be a good vent!

I would be happy to find a true aftermarket a/c replacement that works, and not have to deal with the Dodge dealer again about this! My warranty is done! I live in South Texas! I need an A/C that works! Please, is there a solution out there? I've read all the other "about a billion" other posts on a/c problems, I am willing to pay somebody to rip out my a/c system, and give me something that works. I can't take it anymore!

My '07 was feeling a little sub-standard so I let the dealer take a look at. Expecting a low factory fill or something easy, they hit me with a control head. It appears that some of the issues with 06-07 was a faulty one. Supposedly it is a problem involving many cars in the Chrysler line. The cold is now colder and it doesn't let off. Black truck with sunroof and all.

I heard a lot of talk about adding a manual shutoff valve to the hot side line to the heater core, keeping any and all coolant from circulating through the heater core when you do not need it too, thus giving a colder result...........

try the heater coil by pass and maybe over charge the system a bit. . . .lived in Austin for 5 years with my last 2 dodges and while not freezing they worked fine during those summer days in the 100s. no ice but sure alot cooler than outside.

My truck cools fine while moving it is when it is standing still like at a light where it sucks! I was thinking of adding a auxilary electric fan (Pusher fan) in front of radiator. I really think this would help!

I do know about all the threads about the shut off valves to the the heater core, but I will be doing a lot of mods to the engine soon, and of course don't want to damage my engine, and want to wait a little bit on that until I hear some more results about mods on the a/c. I would like to know if there is an aftermarket a/c system for our trucks. I'm about at the point that I'll pay for it. It's pretty hot around here!

Put a pusher fan on the condensor. My A/C has worked great since I did this. You can also add a little more R134a to make it even colder. Do a search, thread is out there where me and another guy have already done it.
