Working on installing air ride seats. Looking for ideas on the air control. In an over the road truck I had there was a button to push to let air out and another to increase the preasure. Not sure where to get parts like that, all I'm coming up with right now are 1/4 in needle type valves. There must be something more ingenious.

Groran, thanks for the great post. Now I have to get this too! Do you have any close up pics of the air ride mechanism that shows how it works? Were there any other manufactorers of this system that you also considered?

On a side note, I removed my rear seats last night to free up space for my shaggy dog. The cargo deck can be reinstalled after the seats are out so it makes a nice flat surface in the rear.

Thanks, ChuckD

under the seat on my truck there is a oval shaped hole in the floor of the cab, it is covered with a oval shaped plug. that way if you want to get wires or air lines out of the cab you now have a way to do it without drilling holes in the steel. i am sure that they were put there for some other reason but mine wasnt being used so i ran lines for my air assist bags from the soloniod block under my seat.

I might have to install something like this to get my husband to quit squealin' that my truck is too bumpy. "Sweetie it's worse after putting on your new tires" (shhh, don't tell him I run a higher psi too!).

Uh, hunny, have you ridden in your Heep lately??

Anyone else done the air ride seat mod? Just curious for updated items/products to look at.

This is the exact mod I did to a truck I had. I had all my pics on another forum. Got my brackets and air platform from suburban seats.

I am aware this thread is old but I plan to install air suspension seats in my 2014 Ram 1500 crew cab. Any tips or suggestions?
