CD wont Eject?
My 2005 has the CD player that holds just one CD. It wont eject. I'm soooo ******. I just hit 37,300 miles. The warranty end date was Dec 08 or 36K. Think a good dealer will warrant it for me???

Mine used to do that too sometimes. Just wait a while or try it when the truck is cool and it will probably come out.
With mine it doesn't matter anymore because it won't play them either! Just gives me an error message.
I guess it's time to replace it but there are about $75. in adapters needed just to get another one to plug in and match the dash. Plus the cost of the new player. I'm wondering which one would be a good choice.

Dodge has a flat fee for replacing the Infinity 6 disc player, I'm sure they probably have one for the single disc too. They will also get your CD out & mail it to you. When mine got stuck like that I replaced it thru Dodge and they returned all six CD's I had stuck in mine - no problems.
Or, you could go another route - check this out - http://www.tvandnav2go.com/chrysler-...on-system.html

If the eject mechanism isn't all the way gone, you can unplug it from the truck. Let it sit for a few minutes to let the capacitors drain the memory. Plug it back in. It should run a self check on the CD drive and try to eject. If it doesn't then it 's time to replace. I have alot of take outs for '06 models, but none for earlier models.

I wish I was kidding, but mine does the same thing from time to time, usually when I eject or insert a disk with the player off. I've found a quick, firm rap on the dash above the player works everytime. Probably isn't good for the trim panels, but I got my $17 CD back
get an ipod and an FM tuner....never need a new stereo again. of course my stock one doesnt seem to go loud enough, so I might get a new one anyway, and get it with an AUX in so I dont need the tuner anymore.
I think sometimes with electronics (I know with DVD players and the like) if you turn the power off, then press and hold the eject button, while turning the power on (most newer models means touching the eject button turns it on automaticly) it will try and eject for you.
good luck!

I believe Dodge knows that the Infinity is a piece of so that's why they have the trade out policy. There's a washer type gadget that is used to change out/eject the CD's which apparently breaks quite often. I think the 6 disc unit was a $100.00 trade which made it a quicker and less costly "fix" than changing out to a different head unit, plus mine has the steering wheel controls.
