I've been thinking about a Magnum..they look good and I hear they talk well. I have a Super Star SS 33 and have had alot of compliments on how it sounds but to me the recieve quality is lacking. I've also ran Connex and like them too but I'm ready to try something different. Good looking Magnums guys!

I love mine and the guys at Walcott set it up with tons of power. What's nice is they have such a huge selection and you can try things hands on....

FWIW The Ram ball mounts are great as you can swivel them out of the way if you have a passenger that feels cramped

I never would have thought to use a RAM ball. I use them on my bikes for GPS's, etc., but I didn't think they'd be heavy duty enough for a CB.

I have the CB mount from Geneos that mounts to the bottom front side of the center console It vibrates all over the place when on bumpy roads, Plus I cant use the center cup holders.
Thanks
Doug.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Did you by chance try to plug it in the wrong way? I'm sure you have the standard connector thats designed to only plug in one way but it's still possible to make connection momentarily in turn causing you to pop the internal fuse. I'm always really careful when I plug in my radios but managed to blow a fuse on a brand new Galaxy radio by trying to plug it in. It really don't take alot sometimes.

The ball mount is very SOLID even on dirt roads and off road.

I'll see if I can get the number off of it.. I hope it isn't underneath where I screwed it to the floor.

What is also nice is you can easily move it around to accomodate a large passeneger.
