Are Catalytic Converters Worth Any $$$$?

Are catalytic converters (or factory exhaust) worth any thing? My factory exhaust has been sitting my garage for about 2years, and i was wondering if it was worth my time to try and sell it

thanks
jason

The converters contain some expensive materials but the stock exhaust isn't worth much unless you need it. I'd find a place to hide the converter and hang on to it. You never know, state laws may change and you might have a need for it.

I think they pay in the $35-$50 range scrap but you'll spend at least $450 for a new one from what I hear. I'd just set it aside.

Jason,
I am in central pa and would be interested in your exhaust system for my 05.
Shoot me an email at chambershz@comcast.net and we can work things out if you would like to sell the set-up.
Thanks,
John
