be careful of your rear glass!!!!!!!!!!!

did a bobo yesterday and broke my back window. it was a one piece with defroster. it cost $379 and the same price for a slider. both prices were installed quotes using gen. mopar glass.... be careful...

I saw a few places on line where people just went down to a local glass dealer and had it installed (except for wiring and the like) for a few bucks and then went home and finished the wiring...

I feel for you...I did the same thing not too long ago. The poeple who replaced it messed up some of the paint in the process (right under the window) and I still haven't gotten them to fix it. What a pain!!

I have gone threw 3 rear windows, For me it is rocks bouncing from the trailer hitting the rear window.

Has anyone had any problems with cold weather causing them to shatter. I have a neighbor that had his 2500's window shatter for no reason. Sitting in his locked shed, came out one morning after a cold night. Shattered. Nothing fell on it. No one was in there. Just a freak accident I guess.
