I recieved an e-mail from a friend who is a State Trooper. Seems a gang iniation is going on throughout the country. They are driving with the lights off. If you flash your lights to warn them, they are following you and either shooting at you, or shooting the vehicle to be initiated into the gang. So do not pay attention to them. This is just a heads up to all who read this so please pass it on to those you know.

No offense, but this is a REALLY old (and I believe false) bit of information. This has been going around for years....literally. I suppose it's certainly possible that some idiot gang could be doing it (heck, anything is possible), but I kind of doubt it.

Actually it came from an eye witness the person driving was the State Cop. The shooter missed, and his buddy's got away, but he did not. He will be in jail for a long time.

 

They will have a hard time following a CTD without their lights on, navagating through a huge cloud of black smoke is kind of tough!

 

Another old wives tale.

It does happen on the Rez from time to time. Young warriors to be, with nothing else to do, play chicken with unsuspecting anglo drivers. No one on the Rez drives with headlights on. And no one on the Rez pays any attention to speed limits either.
