here is mine. my wheels have a 4.5" backspacing also. I had to trim the plastic air dam on the bottom of the bumper so they wouldn't rub

Sorry to hear that about the wheels.

As far as rubbing with the 4.5" kit I have none, even crossing ditches and gullies. But keep in mind I am running a 20x8.5 with 5.14(? I think is right) BS. Also I would say that running a dually rear axle and spacers up front will only complicate things (If I understood the other post correctly...)

35"X12.5"X18" on like a 10" wheel? Backspacing is way out too they stick out at least 2" maybe more from the truck. Can't remember the spacing and wheel size specs.

Yeah tuff country just blocks and spacers. Cheap, but it rides like stock and has the same load capacities just sits higher and I can wheel it without ever scrubbin the tires. Love the look of 37's but they wouldn't flex out if asked to.....or they would but they would have a disagreement with the fenders

im debating the spacers or springs for the front. i want to be able to see the shocks, i think it would "look cool", then i read all kinds of threads about sagging lift coils so i dont know what to do.

Do you have the part numbers for those shocks? I've been searching for the correct bilstein 5100 shocks for a lift like that. I always get the #s for 2" lifts
Thanks

here are the part #'s on mine

f4-be5-6646-h5 front
f4-be5-6134-t5 rear

they should work with your lift. or you might check out the page

the bilstein's at the top are the 5100's

Man those are some sharp trucks. I'm a little bias towards the long bed but still.

Ok, so I took the spacers off the front. The 4.5'' BS clears the fenders by an inch in the rear and 1.5'' from the bumper. So, my Pop stuck my flares up there and turned the wheel. Said it rubs. So, a lift is the only way to go. Already paid for the flares and the paint so may as well put 'em on right?

I'm going to Houston in Nov to trade my dually rear axle to a guy with a SRW axle. So, that's taken care of. Still undecided on the lift though.

BSJ04, I hadn't heard about the coil spring sag. Sounds like a good reason to go with spacers. But, I just can't make up my mind. 6'' looks awsome. But I'd rather spend the money on a Smarty.
