Can I Copy MP3 music files from PC and play in our trucks?

I don’t know what the trick is but I tried to copy (click and drag) MP3 music files to CD and play in my truck with no luck. It could not read the files. It plays fine in the home computer. What is the trick?

Use cd-r,s and when you get done with the burner software I assume your using either NERO or whatever it usually asks if you want to finalize the cd or not and if you do one or the other it wont be recognized by other readers I cant remember which way is the one to go with but do it different than what you have been doing. Hope this helps

You'll have to use a CD burning program (not the Windows drag and drop) like Roxio to create a "music CD" and it'll do the work for you.

If your CD player is stock it won't play a MP3 file
I replaced my stock player with a Panasonic CQ-C3403U. Money well spent.

Umhm, gotta burn the music.

I download MP3s from Amazon and burn to CD-Rs using the basic Windows Media Player on the laptop.

My radio is an REC Nav unit. It has MP3 emblem on it so I figured it will play.

Then it's something in the burning process that isn't working.
