A/C Question

I noticed yesterday that my a/c would start slowing down and then stop running. i would play with the control **** and it would come back on but would not blow consistantly with the level that i had it set on. does this mean that the blower motor is out or that the switch is messed up? the a/c blows very cold all the time so i'm pretty sure there's no problems with the system itself. thanks for any help.

You need an amp gauge , to see how many amps its pulling , if not over rated then look at the stepping resistor , one of the coils may be burning out .
Also look for stuff getting into airbox , I've seen things that fall through dash end up getting into air passages .

thanks, a friend of mine suggested to check the refrigerant level first then go from there. so i figure i'd give that a try and then start working back towards the more expensive parts lol. thanks for the reply though, it dang sure gives me a starting point if the levels are correct.
