i have read all the recic door and divider problems out there and it doesnt match my problem. my o6 2500 cummins a/c come on moves air around to the correct vents etc. the 134 is at proper pressures and i belive the compressor is still good. the compressor will not kick on and fuse box is good. does anybody have any idea if there is another internal fuse or something else i have missed. thanks

I have similar issues. My mechanic says he thinks it's the bcm which is where all the wiring comes from/goes to The problem they are having with is is that the 06 schematics are not yet available for public consumption so thay cannot trace the wires properly. He told me I would have to go to the Dealer the bcm is a $700 part and he doesn't want to replace it unless he is 100% sure thats what the proble is.
Please let me know if you find a solution, and I will do the same.
Thanks

You said 06. Do you have warranty left? Also, there was word that the wires to the ac clutch or something like it is close to the serp belt and can rub them and mess them up. Worth a look. Alot of folks seemed to have fixed their ac issues by repairing/moving those wires.

Ok. Mech Says Its The Compressor Clutch Thats Out. I Said Great . He Proceded To Tell Me That You Couldnt Get Parts To Fix The Clutch. So...it Looks Like A New Compresser At 540.00 May Do It. Well Find Out Tomorrow When I Pick It Up.

They did the same thing to me.
can't replace the clutch only, because dodge has not released the part yet. maybe next year. So I bought a new compressor.
I'm going to have the dealer check out the BCM when I get back home.

I took the truck to the dealer, they flashed the TIPM (?) and voila my a/c works $200.00

He said that if it fails again I would probably need a new TIPM (some electric module) and it would be $1100.00........What scares me is that $1100.00 is starting to sound reasonable for a repair bill!!

they also said $320.00 for the broken recirc door...I guess I'll do that one myself.
