Brake Pedal

Am I the only guy that has about 2 to 3 inches of lateral play in his brake pedal?

I looked for loose bolts and anything broken under the dash... Brakes work fine, just pedal moves left and right when braking... Well make that all the time...

Any idea's?

Never heard of anyone else with this issue. If you haven't already I'd have the dealer take a look. A broken or insecure brake pedal could be a disaster.

The pedal does have four bushings in it that ride on the support shaft. Have you seen any pieces in the floor board? It shouldn't have that much space to move that freely, but nothing would suprise me. Get a flashlight and take a look up at it. I'm guessing it is without power adjustable. Also the pin that slides through the pedal is held in place by an e-clip on both ends. It is possible that one of the clips have come off and the pin is almost out on one side. Let me know what you find.
