Big Horn - Trailer Tow Group?

My 2005 3500 CTD dealer window sticker lists something called "Trailer Tow Group" under the "Quad Cab Big Horn Value Group". Anyone know exactly what that is? Especially curious if it includes an auto-trans cooler?

The Class IV receiver hitch and 7-pin wiring harness are listed separately, so that's apparently not part of the "Trailer Tow Group".

Thx, Rob

The trailer tow group includes the hitch, 7 pin harness, and front tow hooks.

The Big Horn Package was mostly appearance, but included satellite radio. In other parts of the country it was called the Lone Star and Thunder road group. It was only a $600 option, so you don't get much.

All automatics have 2 " coolers ", not just a tow package thing.

In 06 the big horn included

Premium Bench Seats
Bodyside molding
Sateleite Radio (late avail.. my dads early 06 doesnt have it)
sliding rear window
Trailer Tow Group (Hitch, Wiring, Tow Hooks)
Light Group

I think there was one or two more additions, but don't recall right now.

I agree on all auto's having the coolers, don't recall that being part of the tow package on a Dodge.

Again, all that stuff is listed separately on my build sheet. And the "Trailer Tow Group" is also listed separately.

So, my question remains unanswered - what the heck is the "Trailer Tow Group"?

I have the "Big Horn" package - but no satellite radio.

I have an 05 with what I would guess be the tow package (fount tow hooks, 2" frame hitch, 7 wire round plug, 4 flat plug, under dash brake controller plug) what is the ratting for the hitch? I cannot find any information on the hitch it self.

Thanks
