I just installed the Lockpick with my factory REC Nav unit. It was very easy and works great!! I used a license plate mounted camera that I got from a local electronics shop. This Lockpick unit is truly plug & play. The back up camera comes on automatically on my Nav screen when I put it in Reverse. I can also manually turn it on anytime. A side benefit is that the "In Motion" limitations on the navigation unit are turned off!!
Here is the address:

I mounted mine inside of the tailgate spoiler and at that angle I can back right up to a trailer and not have to move the trailer at all. It looks back and down. I can still see a little ways behind me and I can see the rigging. Love this setup. I used to have it mounted right above the hitch, but this works a LOT BETTER!

Do Dodge have these as option, i know Ford have. Maybe a Ford mirror fits in a Dodge?

How about mount it behind the license plate, then install an actuator to pivot the plate up or down out of the way when you are in reverse. That would be cool and keep it from getting stolen most likely.

I'd like to see pictures of the one installed in the tail gate spoiler.

I'll try to get some pics asap. I actually got the idea from a guy on here (burners banshee). I tried to look up the thread but all the pics are gone.

Back up camera install

Where do you mount the sending unit with the little antena on the wireless back up camera. In side the truck or under the bed.

I got mine hooked up today. Turned my REC Nav in to my back up screen with the lockpick from http://www.coastaletech.com/REC_LOCKPICK.htm. It was a snap just had to run the wire from the back of the truck to the radio.

This is a mod that's on my to do list. Especially when the truck is lifted. Some pics would be sweet when someone gets around to it. I have to get a seperate screen since I dont have nav. Well, I do, but her name is Gretta and she sits in the top left corner of my windshield
