Is there anyway to turn these things off, like we did with the seat belt chime. I hate getting in driving out to my shop and the doors lock, then I get out not remembering the doors locked and go get something and can't put it in the passenger side because the darn things are locked. If I wanted them locked I would have locked them. Thanks

Read the owners manual. It tells you how

 

ARA, check your owner's manual. I was able to disable the auto locks on my 04.5. Maybe it can be done on yours as well. Don't know for sure.

I fixed mine on my old 00 with a DRB unit, it was very easy, you know anyone that has one? If you were closer, I could help you out, dont let the dealer rip you off though, it took me all of 15 seconds.
