Anyone know the factory '03 wheel backspacing?
Anyone know the factory '03 wheel backspacing?
I've got the 17" aluminum rims on my '03 2500 4x4, and I'm looking into some new wheels and the 315 BFG's. Does anyone know the factory backspacing, and what is anyone else running for aftermarket rims?

The best I've come up with:

http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/wheel/specs.htm

Lots of great info there, thanks for the link!
Too bad there's nothing there on '03 2500's yet. :'( I'm certain someone out there knows?!

You can just measure it yourself.
The backspacing is measure from the center of the rim (inside side) to the edge of the rim.
Backspacing on the 2002 aluminum wheels is around 6 1/2 inches.
No after market wheel has that much backspace, unless special ordered. The most I've found is 4 3/4's
So, any aftermarket wheel will stick out about 2 inches more than the stock wheels.
