Anyone Ever Tried These For Their Fog Lights

Looks like a sweet kit that im thinking about trying insted of the HIDs to get some more light on dark roads. Let me know what you guys think.

http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr....20200.0.0.0.0

On one part it says its for 03-08 Dodge Trucks but on another part of thir page it says for 03-05. Arnt all the fog light holes and mounts the same for all these years. Thanks for the help.

I've been eyeballing these since I saw them on PIAA's site.. i'd REALLY like to see someone that has them installed. I installed 9005 xtreme white piaa's in the fog lights and they seem pretty nice but i'd love to have this kit. I wonder if it will fit an 06? I thought the 03-09 fog lights were the same as well... bump for some more views

I have no information on the PIAA kit, but I can confirm that the fog lights from 03-09 are all the same. The lower section of the front bumper and fog lights are interchangeable.

Gino's has a kit that uses bigger bulbs. On mine I put stock size Hoen Endurance that are bright Amber like older fog lights.

The lens itself is sealed to the housing, Jim. You will need to replace the housing and lens assembly, but obviously don't need the mounting bracket unless yours is busted. Also, the lens and housing are interchangeable between sides, so if you happen to find a deal on a drivers side foglight and you need a passengers side, all you have to do is flip the lens/housing 180 degrees in the bracket and it will work.

You can find knockoff replacement foglights on eBay pretty cheap. I've replaced a couple on my father's and my pickups with these knockoffs and they are very similar in quality to OEM. The brackets actually seem to be a little BETTER made than OEM.

Hope this helps.

A friend of mine put them in his 06. He had the slt with the chrome bumper, and you can get a bezel that inserts around the light, just like the stock ones. Very nice fit. Lights were good and bright, but still have the glass lenses, which get broke by rocks. Also, he had one burn out, and he said the bulb was expensive to replace.

One problem we had, was we switched his bumper out for a Laramie one, which doesn't mount the lights the same, and had issues to get them to fit properly.

If i was going to put a set on my truck, I would put some of that clear 3m protectant or something similar on the lenses to protect them.
