fuel fittings

I am getting ready to replace my faulty FASS 95 HPFP with a air dog system. I am planing to go with the vulcan draw straw for my fuel supply. I realy want this to be the last time I have to drop the tank on my truck. I am also thinking of going with a stainless or aluminum braided lines. However I am not sure what all of the -6 -4 stuff means. I would like to have nice AN fittings from the draw straw right up to the CP3. Does any one have an idea of the fittings I might need or some sort of referance guide I could read so I can get up to speed on these fittings.

Thank you

Looking in your sig I don't see any huge power adders. I would consider using a canister from a non in-tank LP truck vs a draw straw. It will have no issues down the the last drop.

Glacier Diesel Power has a good assortment of fuel fittings and should be able to hook you up.

As far as the AD filters, have you read the threads about the lack of f/w separation?

AN fittings stand for Army/Navy fittings. Just divide by 16.

So 4 AN would be 4/16 or 1/4"

6 AN would be 6/16 or 3/8"

etc....

He is correct. Also AN fittings are for aerospace/automotive and generally made out of aluminum but you can also use JIC fittings as well which is used in industrial applications and generally made out of steel.
