Answer for surface rust

I wanted to know how to get the surface rust off my chassie and came across this product used by the US army. Sounds pretty good to me. I'm going to give it a try.

I would imagine that it could be done in warmer weather as now it's to dam cold to do anything outside. I haven't bought it yet but I'm going to give it a try in spring time. $10 a gallon it's worth a try.

I got an auto body shop to sand (probably lightly just to prep) and paint my frame, axles, suspension, radiators and calipers. It came out really nice, he even masked off the bare bolts that had no surface rust on them. He used 'rattle cans' but it's still sticking well after a year now! Looks like it will stay for the long term, I was kinda worried about it.

This is a Texas truck btw and wasn't too bad but annoying enough.

$600
