My truck finally came in. I checked it out today. I ordered the snow plow prep group and recieved the 136 amp alt. I think this was probably discussed already but shouldn't that be 140 amps? Thanks.

 

I dunno, but I doubt there would be two different alternators with only a 4 amp difference.

Thanks. <br>[/quote]there is only one alternator available for the diesel in the option group you are talking about it is a 160 amp unit but it is only available on the gas engine. and as of yet there are no up grades available for the 2003 charging system.<br>Dan<br><br>PS where on the island r u from?

I have the HO CTD and snow plow prep with the 136.<br><br>The 160 is available on the gasser's only. Nobody ever confirmed what DC was going to do with the advertisement error.

 

I wonder if TomT has seen this yet?? :

Well, I picked it up today and all I have to say is WOW!!! ;D ;D ;D This truck is really something! 8)<br>The dealer explained how they goofed so they decided to refund the $114 for the plow prep group. ;D Sounds good to me.<br>Now that is what I call service!
