I've only got a couple a thousand on mine so far... but here's what it's getting... CLICK HERE

Feel free to save the Excel file for yourself... I made it up and have tweaked it for my own needs over the years.

For comparison, my new truck is getting new... what my old truck got at 90K+ miles... the old one was a 2001 ctd 4x4 2500 qcab long bed automatic

new one is 2003 ctd 4x4 3500 qcab longbed 3.73 gears 6spd HO DRW

Thump, nice spreadsheet.

You're not going to do the first oil change until 15k? I was almost on my 4th by that time using Rotella dino.

I don't have my manual with me here, but if you're pulling a trailer, I think that takes you out of the 15k interval.

That spreadsheet is very similar to one that I created...only I don't pay any attention to the engine hours. It's a good way of keeping records though.

If I recall correctly my spreadsheet records date, odometer reading, name of station, location of station, number of gallons pumped, cost per gallon, ounces of additive, calculated MPG and a column for any comments. That's just a fuel log though. I also have one for maintenance.

I'll be doing the first one earlier for sure and doubt I'll leave it at the max interval since I do some heavy towing occasionally... I was just getting the spreadsheet setup. It's got a field to enter whatever interval you desire.

My truck has a 500 lb canopy on it and I pack 1500 lbs of tools etc at all times ..my mileage if i stay around the speed limit is 15 ltrs/100 kms...not exactly sure of what that is in american gallons but think its somewhere close to 14.5 to 15 mpg on the US gallon..I only check my mileage as an over all average..I fill to the brim every fill and zero my trip meter and do the math taking into account all types of driving highway city etc.. all things considered I'd say thats good milege packing a ton of weight day in and day out

I get 20-21 mpg consistently... 11-12 mpg towing. I have 20,000 miles on her. ;D

My DUALLY 4x4 6sp 373's OC gets 13-14 at highway speeds (75-90) not towing just 1000# of guns and ammo. This is my third CTD and I have never reached the numbers that most guys see. '97=17,'00=15. But then again if I wanted to drive 60 a Hugo would do.lol.. I have seen 17.8 on the over head while driving to and from Seattle at 65mph. But that may have been a fluke.
