You will need two push-lock fitting and the adapters to go in/out of your fuel canister. I do not have the size information, but if you look at your AD installation information, they are the same as those that go to the CP3.

So, write the size of the adapter down that is installed in the CP3 and write the size of the push-lock down that attaches to it, NAPA has those parts or order tham from AD.

I looked up the sizes in my AD-150 install instructions.
The adapter that goes into the CP3 is a 12mm x -8 JIC/w o-ring - need 2ea
The pusk-loc fitting is a -8 Swivel x 1/2" push-lock Wide 90* - need 2ea

what fittings do I need for the fuel inlet into the stock fuel filter? My FASS HPFP95 came with a block that installed on the filter housing but that is only 3/8s and I belive the air dog 150 comes with 1/2 inch fuel line. I belive I already have the fittings that go from the stock filter outlet to the CP3.

I gave you the fitting sizes you'd need for the stock fuel inlet and outlet above.

The Air Dog kit comes with the fittings and fuel line to bypass/leave out your stock canister, also not using any of the stock fuel lines. So, the fuel line would go from the AD pump assy to the CP3.

If you want to include your stock canister in your fuel system then you will need the two fittings to adapt the fuel line into and out of your stock canister, and you will need the two push lock fittings to attach the fuel line to the input and outputs of the canister.

You HAVE 1 adapter and 1 push lock that would go to the CP3 directly. You could use those 2 pieces to connect to the backside/inlet side of your canister to get you Air Dog up and running if you have your stock canister plumbed from the outlet side to the CP3.

Then, get the two other adapter fittings and push lock fittings I listed above, then run from the output side of your canister to the CP3 inlet.

You will need the 2 adapter fittings and the 2 push lock fittings I listed above IF you are planning to keep you stock canister. Otherwise, you have all that is needed if you go from the Air Dog to the CP3.

Thank you for your replys however my 04 is differnt than your 06. I believe your truck came with the in tank pump where my 04 came with the pump mounted to the filter housing. There in not a threded inlet on my filter housing. The original pump output used an o-ring and was held in place by 4 bolts 2 on each side. So as far as I can see I can not just thread a fitting into the stock filter housing to allow me to plumb my stock filter in line. Sorry for all of the confusion.

Hey.

Sorry from this end, I helped a friend do his 04, must have been a 04.5??? His housing was the same as mine if I recall it correctly.

So, you need the type of fitting that would go into your housing as you have described. Try taking a look at GDP's website, he has quite a few fittings for fuel system connections, he may have what you need . .

http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/

also, if you have your housing, you might be able to adapt something . .

I wonder if you could install the housing that my 06 has? I have seen several of them for sale in classifieds on different websites. Did/does your old housing have the WIF-water in fuel light? I am supposing that your old housing did water seperation, right? Even though you have the water seperator in the Air Dog, a secondary backup might be good. I am assuming that your stock housing also had a fuel heater? Somehwere I have seen where someone did change a canister or upgrade it on an 03-04? You might want to do a search to see if you could find that info???

I have a 04 that had the pump relocated to the tank. My JIC fitting screwed into that oring bracket that is bolted onto the back of the stock cannister. Now whether or not my bracket is the same as yours I'm not sure due to the relocate. You are more or less making a big line kit from the stock cannister to the CP3 pump. All you need is a couple extra fittings. Just call AD and they know what you need. I believe it is 2 Pushlok 90 s and 2 JIC fittings. I used the Vulcan 90 which is tapped for a fuel sender.

I had my LP moved to the tank. I scrounged a stock filter cansister after that. I used the fitting provided by AD to put the line on the back of the filter housing. You just need to use one of the old o-ring's from the stock banjo bolt and add it to the fitting they provide. I had a leak issue at that fitting and fixed it this way. If you still have the factory LP on the back of the filter housing then you will need to buy this piece from someone.
