Air Compressor Install
I have an Air Zenith OB2 compressor that I am getting ready to install and am looking for a good/easy place to grab 12v (switched) from inside the cab? That circuit will only go through on/off swx, pressure swx and then pull in the relay for the compressor so it doesn't need to be big amperage.

Wire your on/off switch to the pressure switch, or wire the pressure switch into the key power circuit. This way you can turn off the system even when you've got low air pressure. You could use the radio circuit for this since it's basically turning the relay for power on or off.

Painless wiring product makes a fuse block that has a relay. Drive the relay from the ignition switch, then you can add as many circuits, switched off the ignition that you want.
It's available at Jegs, Summit, etc.

I like that since this likely won't be the last switched circuit I add. I'll check it out. Do you happen to know what color wire is the hot off the ign swx?

Please do me a favor and let me know how you like the Air Zenith. I'm in the process of researching for my next air compressor. The little one that came with my Firestone kit struggles when I air up my bags from 30 PSI to 85.
That and I'm putting train horns on my '08. I had some dumb*** cut me off when I was pulling my toyhauler, a 26 foot Keystone Energy. Even with an exhaust break, break controller, and being careful it scared me pretty good. My wife was even more scared, which turned to anger really fast ..... so basically I was told I could get what I wanted. I'm guessing she doesn't want a new hood ornament on my truck.
