ABS & Brake lights on....... WTH?

This is aggrivating, ever since I put my HID's in (or was it when I bolted up the new rims/tires?) I've been getting these two lights from time to time.

Thing that is weird is that it comes on at the same time when I go up a certain hill near my house. Other times it can be off for 20 miles at a time, never come at all?

Whats the deal, both the key trick and Smarty are showing NO codes.

Did I pop something loose in the engine compartment while wiring the headlights?

If so, why isn't it more consistent?

HELP, I HATE DUMMY LIGHTS! (makes me fell like a dummy)

Mine came on a while back. Had to replace wheel speed sensor.

Dads came on, along with no speedo operation, and it was a bad fuse (he pulled the wrong one in the dark, and put it back in the wrong spot) so I would check the fuse and/or connection... but more than likely its a wheel speed sensor.

Well, I thought I had it licked this afternoon. I hadn't re-calibrated for the tire size yet with the Smarty. When the program comes up it say "abs" something or other. So, of course I was thinking I was just messed up from not being at the stock tire size.

No luck.

Any other ideas, I'm going to check out some connections, other than that I may be unloading the smarty and taking it to the dealer to see if they have any ideas. They need to fix the lumbar I broke last week anyway.

that was very common issue with the 2nd gens. It was a speed sensor in the rear end housing. Very easy to replace and pretty cheap

So, you guys are thinking it is just pure coincidence that I was poking around while wiring up the HID's (and got 22.5's)?

Truck only has 16,500 miles on it.

My mainly stock truck has had the ABS light come on two times when towing. The light went off after a day or so. I believe turning the key on/off reset the ABS light. Funny, I remember the last time the light came on I was making a tight turn from level to fairly steep grade towing and you mention going up a hill.

And of course, I drove the truck about 8 miles yesterday, stopped, idled for about 10 minutes, then drove back the same distance.....no lights.
Annoying.

Sign me up for it too. Granted I have the Lock out hubs and thought "Dang nab it Dodge is not going to pay for this." ... Went off a few hours later..

Then one day I pulled into the Post Office (a hard left turn) and it comes back on. ... A few hrs later and a few key clicks and it's off.

Both times it was HOT out 80-85 (that's hot for NH) and it was dry no rain.

Both times it had to do with turning at almost full lock.

So far it's been off since the last time which was early September. I'm hoping it's an anomaly like the fan speed code I got the first week I had the truck. Cleared it and it;s never come back.

A figure eight turn and a few key clicks might be the "cure" next time it comes on.
