6 speed question

I have a 6 speed in my 04 3500. I have noticed that over the last year that i've had the truck that it is harder to get it into gear. I am thinking the slave cylinder might be going bad. Anyone have this problem or have any insight on this? Thanks

Pretty easy to replace. You purchase the Master and Slave as a connected unit and install it without taking it apart. No Bleed. Where are you at in this world? I have a new set in the garage.

The NV5600 is particular on the type of fluid used. Popular choices would be Pennzoil Synchromesh Fluid, Amsoil MTF and Redline MTL. Mopar dealers will also have it and so does GM dealers (listed for the NV3500).

It's recommended to overfill by at least one quart to help lube the upper bearings. To get the extra fluid in you can fill via the top shifter cover or the top PTO bolt hole if you have a pump.

BTW, I'm running six quarts of Amsoil MTF.
