Bed to cab ground

Anybody know the correct size screw/bolt for this? Or where I might order one? I'm willing to pay top dollar.

Also, what about license plate bolts? They only put two out of the four back on.

Seems I am STILL discovering poor workmanship from the body shop last fall...

I know the ground strap is either a 8 or 10 mm head with coarse thread... I can go take a pic later, maybe I have an extra one in the shop. Can't help you with the license plate off the top of my head. Lemme look in the screw bin when I get home.

You are correct, it is a 10 mm head. The one that was still on there was loose from being yanked - so I tightened it and straightened the gusset where it is bolted to. Thanks for looking later!

Man, I never got under the truck tonight... I forgot I had some other semi pressing stuff to do. If I get a chance while I'm gone, I sure will look for you, but I'm leaving in the AM to go to SC.

On the off chance I get a minute in the morning, I'll pull it out!

Pretty sure a 3/88 headed self tapper would do the job.

madhat, no worries! I really appreciate any help I can get at this point and really am not in that big of a hurry being that it's been hanging there for several months now.

Purplezr2, do you mean 3/8"? Aren't the threads metric though? Or will this just oversize the hole a bit and re-tap?

Alright, dude, my bad. I got hung up this morning. If you don't have an answer by the 15th when I get back in town, PM me, I'll get you what you need.

My thought was its just sheet metal and it would just make the hole alittle bigger, Yes I meant 3/8 that was a typo.
