3rd Stop Lamp Assembly?
My passenger tail lamp and 3rd lamp are both out. I stopped by Autozone to pick up both. The 3rd lamp is an assembly only, no bulb replacement? What engineer thought it was a good idea to put an incandescent lamp in an assembly only part?
I decided to wait until I could check the fuse first. (It was after dark when I learned of this.)
$80.00 for the assembly.

It was probably a bean counter who forced the engineers hand.
Doesn't Geno's sell these lights? Maybe theirs has a replaceable bulb?

Geno's has the OEM replacement.
I have the LED strip between my bumper and tail gate so it's not that critical to take care of immediately, more just an annoyance that they'd use that set-up.
All of the aftermarket seem to be LED 3rd lamp assemblies.
