315 Spare

Anybody tried to fit a 315 up under their truck as a spare?

Got those new hummer wheels and would like to carry a full size spare.

What size tire do you have for your spare?

Just want to add mine fits too. I've got a 315 mounted on a stock spare wheel, but fits nicely.

Have a good one.

Mine fits. It has about an inch between the tire and exhaust. Even if it was touching the exhuast I'm not sure it would hurt anything.

I just got a killer deal on a set fo 285/70/17's and need to find one more to replce the spare when I switch over. hopefully I can get a little better mileage with the smaller tires.

Too bad your not close, I have two BFG 285/70R/17s in the garage. Both have about 1/2 tread left, great for spare. I blew one on a set of four, so bought new set of 4, used one of the three good ones for my spare and have the other two in the garage taking up space.
