I have a 2007 4X4 3500 with 3.73's. What's involved in changing this ratio to 3.55's. Is it a practical thing to do. What is it likely to cost.

I don't believe you can buy a 3.55 gear set for that axle. You are likely stuck with what you have.

Way,

If you want to change your gears to get better mileage it would be much more effective to do the gears than to do tires. I haven't heard of 3.55s for the AAM axles. The old Dana axles came with 3.54s.

welcome to the club I have 35 inch tires and still want 3.55s but oh well

Like I mentioned to you before look into the rickson 19.5s you can get some pretty tall tires for them with more than enough load rating
