Have a 2007 2500. Windshield fluid low warning comes on when the reservoir is full. Seems it started when the weather turned cold. Been averaging around the mid 20's to low teens. Fluid is not frozen. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Probably just the sensor. I'd start with cleaning the contacts on the sensor first, but it's fairly common. It's not a hard install, you'll just lose a gallon of washer fluid.

 

Cleaned the contacts and re-installed. I went for quite some time before the warning reappeared. Looks like I'll be changing the sensor.

 

Finally got around to changing the sensor. Worked fine for awhile then cam back on. Where do I go from here?

 

Mine's been that way for years. I just ignore it.

 

If the switch (sensor) itself is good then it's connector and/or the wirings BR/TN and VT/TN between the switch and TIPM has a bad connection.
Check C1 connector pin 8 and pin 9 at TIPM.

 

Where do you find those connections?

 

On your truck.
The connector to the switch and one of the connector to TIPM.
Look for the color of the wirings.

It will ding low washer fluid everytime I start the truck for a period of days or weeks then go away for months and repeat. Not near as annoying as my wifes Charger that randomly emits 2 LOUD chimes while driving to tell you the NAV isn't working right. Fortunately that only happens once in a while too.
On a good note, the "pulsing or surging" of the truck's engine with the cruise control on, going downhill or very light load seems to have gone away over the last couple years.......
