Congrats!!

PSST it's not too late to call and switch to a 6speed now! You'll thank me later when you want to add power and realize you need a $6k transmission

You guys all freaked out about my 6spd comment. I just wish I had made the decision to get the 6spd. No the auto doesn't have a lot of problems, but they don't take hardly any power upgrades before needing expensive upgrades. If you want to stay stock the auto is fine. If you want to pull really heavy loads or upgrade your power eventually, get the 6spd!

It's always great to hear from an "expectant father." Congrats on the new order... Got my new truck a month and a half ago or so and just love the hell out of it! I got the 48re myself and it's just fine. Don't plan on bombing for awhile (although I would like to be able to make some smoke!)

That is soooo true! I now have blackwalled tires on the rear. It takes a while to get used to the training wheels. My 48RE is doing fine, especially in stop and go traffic!
