i sold my 01 and was wondering wut u guy thought about the difference in the 04 and 05. i know in 04.5 they went to 600 series. wut would u guys recommend i get. also i want to run crazy larry on it. any suggestions would be appreciated thank you

 

It doesn't matter. They are all great. If you are planning on bombing the truck, you may want to get an 04.5 or up truck just because there are more options in the aftermarket. But, you can make big power with any of them.

 

Crazy Larry is NOT avaiable for 03-04.

If you want to get serious about bombing by all means get a 04.5+.

They respond way better to mods and you get more HP per dollar.

You can get 650hp 04.5+ with no drugs, no twins, no injectors, no cp3 mods, no cam.

Wish somebody told me about this back in Febuary when I was looking. All I heard was 03 get good mpg and there all the same..... well that was a crock of %^$%

 

Both 04.5 and 05 are great trucks find onw with the rights price and go for it.
